Now that our deeply loved meme king has departed to Lazio, who do you think should be given the armband to captain the team (from the current crop of players in case you VVD and Keita trolls try to be funny) when Hendo and Millie aren't on the pitch.

Personally I would like to give it to Emre as he is a dominant force in the team's motivation and drive to push forward. The man never stops until the final whistle is blown and encompasses Liverpool's not stop persevering attitude. He has the potential to be the spine of our midfield given he hasn't even hit his peak yet, but showed stints of it last season (thanks Watford).

My other suggestion would be Phil, speaks through his actions which can easily switch the team's thinking with his sheer creativity. Plus maybe a taste of captaincy in the league may entice him to stay a bit longer at Liverpool - but hey let's not get ahead if ourselves :)
