A couple of days ago there was a post from a user claiming to have flights from South Africa and was willing to give them away. Firstly, this should not have been allowed to stay on the subreddit and it was only at the stage where many people had already responded that it was spotted. Since then I have repeatedly tried to verify the offer and confirm that it is legitimate and has gone through. Each time the user has made his excuses.

Due to the evidence we have and communications between various parties we believe that at least one person has been involved and not received tickets.

If anyone else has been in contact with this user about getting flights please send a modmail immediately. We are taking this matter very seriously and will be providing the Reddit admins with as many details as we can.

Obviously, we still hope that a person has legitimately received the tickets and this situation has just been a misunderstanding. So if you actually have received the tickets, please send us a modmail immediately.
