Hello everyone, your friendly mod here!

I need to discuss the future of our weekly movie nights with you all. As some of you may know, rabb.it will be shutting down sometime in the (most likely) near future. Apparently they were not able to properly monetize the platform and cannot continue to run the site, so in the future it will likely just cease to be.

​

The hope is that something perfect comes along that you can stream on, like rabb.it.. There are other platforms we can try, but so far none have worked with movies that are streamed online, only with downloads or with the services you pay for (Netflix, mostly), or with Youtube.

​

I do not particularly want to download movies to watch, and while I am not opposed to streaming with Hulu or Netflix, I need time to find a good site to stream them from that works for what we need.

​

For these reasons we may eventually have to take a break from movie nights. I am still hopeful that I can continue them on rabb.it until the site's inevitable end, and I am still actively working towards finding a solution that is as similar to rabb.it as we can get for now.

If you have any suggestions or find anything, please feel free to let me know in the comments. I'd love you to help me find a solution to this problem, and hopefully it can bring us more together as a community! ^-^
