I (24m) got out long term relationship not too long ago and i’m ready to start meeting people. I grew up here, moved to NWA for about 5 years and moved back here about a year ago. When i moved back i was still in a relationship and was planning on moving again so i didn’t really try too hard to meet new people or get involved in the community since i thought i was going to leave again. now that i’m not planning on going anywhere, at least for right now, I would love to be able to meet single women here and get to know them even if it just leads to us being friends. I’m not even sure how to go about this because the only place i could think of to meet women my age would be at bars or church. I like to go out to get drinks with friends occasionally but going to bars isn’t something i would say i’m super into or would want to do every weekend. i’m not against church but i wouldn’t describe myself as a religious person. i have religious friends but we met in a context in which you could have discussions about things other than just Christianity. it is hard to actually get to know someone if they just want to talk about God and the Bible and you aren’t as interested in that. i like to think im a pretty decent looking guy but haven’t had much luck on dating apps either. anyway just was curious if anyone had any suggestions or ideas.
