I just stumbled across the most reasonably priced Lithops!

$9.99 for the larger pot of 6 and $6.99 for the smaller ones of 4.

This is my first time owning the famous booty plant, I would really appreciate any and all advice!!! I have done lots of research already of course but I’d love to hear tidbits of what worked for you, or what was the kiss of death for you lol. :(

I’m planning on mixing up 10% succulent soil, 10% perlite, 40% sand and 40% crushed glass as substrate. (It’s decorative glass intended as top dressing, not sharp) Should I gently remove as much potting soil as possible? I think it’s pure peat moss.

I have 2 containers with drainage that I plan on potting them into. (I know this is super sketch given their cycles) Then I was thinking of waiting until most/all are wrinkled before watering - whenever that may be.

Is this a good game plan? TIA!
