Anyone opt out of surgery
Post Body

So i injured my self on march 15 th ive been placed on non weight bearing and in a boot doc thinks that the ligament that connect big toe to next toe over is torn says surgery is up to me but im afraid i cant cover the expenses and ive opted to wait the 6 weeks and see if i can get along without it any thoughts? I have enough savings to carry me the 8 weeks to return to work but surgery is looking like 4 to 6 months recovery

Edit : i lift weights so feeling my left calf atrophy into a trash bag full of laffy taffy is no fun thank you all for the advice this is why i love reddit no matter how obscure the subject theres a sub for you guys and gals your the best ive been stuck in my apartment for 2 weeks now i love you guys thank you
