Imagining that there's some folks interested getting started with home-assistant after the LAS: IoT and chill
For those interested in getting I would recommend having a look at the Getting Stated guide at home-assistant.io .
For those preferring video tutorial there's a youtube videos for learning there's quite a few from BRUH Automation.
The starting requirements are Python 3.4 or higher and not much more.
I personally run it on a Raspberry Pi 2 running Debian Jessie Lite.
I'm not associated with the project but I try to contribute where I can.
