I have a 4070ti, 7800x3d, and all very good other parts in my pc and yet my games lag extremely hard for a good min after about 3-4 mins of playing them. I restarted windows yesterday and redownloaded everything and no change. Not sure if it’s worth noting but I do believe my m.2 is formatted on ntfs and not exFat but I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

For example, I run Elden ring on medium settings and the frames drop so bad that it kicks me out of the game.

In Fortnite, I always get a steady 165 fps and randomly for a minute I drop to 4-30fps making the game unplayable for that moment.

With these noted, it’s not steam or epic. I’m really not sure what to do so if anyone has any suggestions on what I can try please let me know.
