Hi everyone, i'm looking to buy a Synology NAS to store all of my photos.. Planning on getting the DS1522 and putting 2 16TB drives to begin with... My requirements are mainly remote access as my editors will be accessing my photos around the country... I currently use Google Drive and I wanna use another method.
I know you can mount a NAS as a drive on macOS using SMB but how would I make that possible to someone who isn't on my local network. I saw ways of connecting through VPN's or Synology's Quick connect, but will that method allow me to mount them as a "hard drive" to view all the folders?
