So I have one of the RE6300 models for wifi extending. It worked fine back in April and recently the wifi provider came around and changed the main router and password. So I updated the password and now whenever I go to download a game or a movie to my consoles it flips out, flashing a red light and disconnecting from the wifi until I unplug it for about a minute or two.
It only does it when I do that and it never did it before until now. It gets good speeds, it’s in a good spot, it’s up to date, there’s no reasonable reason for it to be doing what it does but it does it anyway. It’s kinda convincing me that perhaps this brand may not be that good, since I saw a thread online where someone had a similar problem with a different wifi extender from the same company.
