Every since the firmware update to the Linksys Routers a couple weeks back MANY people are having the same issues as me. Daily, if not Hourly wifi dropped connections having to reboot the router once a day some multiple times a day. Even after downgrading back to the previous firmware the router still down not act properly after the upgrade. It seems as if the new firmware adjusts something internally that downgrading and resetting does not resolve. There are several threads on Linksys's page, MANY of us have reached out to linksys support and they don't seem to have any real answers. I reached out to one of their "Forum support" techs and they ignored my message from days ago and yet today they finally "report it to engineers" to look into. This was a $300 router. I'm working on mine being exchanged under warranty to rule out hardware failure, as are many others on the forum, sadly this is more than likely not the case. To top it off they are making people pay for shipping on the returns even though they are covered under warranty. Here is the main thread http://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/WRT3200ACM-1-0-6-184351-Firmware-and-Wireless-Lockups-5ghz-radio/td-p/1237411 but if you look around there are probably 4 or 5 others with groups of people having similar issues. Does anyone have a contact with linksys engineering? This is CRAZY.
