First off I’m trying to be really open minded as Im dead broke and I’ve had a difficult year, I could really use this job.

I applied for on LinkedIn for job posting as a “Private Chauffeur” a few days later the CEO (verified user) of this company reached out and asked if I can fill out a “Jotform” with my basic information. A couple days after my “employer” Dr. Breen Kenneth reach out via email to congratulate me and said he will be sending a check. A certain amount was to cover my first week and the rest I am supposed to use and give to the “rental car company”

Well I actually received a real legitimate check today and deposited to my account. I am waiting for it to clear.

I’m from EastLa so I have a lot of street knowledge I know this is a scam. Atleast i can feel it! However Im not 100% sure..something just doesn’t seem right. Im a father of 4 and I can really use this job. Even after receiving the check I still find it hard to celebrate that I am finally Employed. Just doesn’t seem right.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I’m so confused. I’m praying this isn’t a scam but please let me know if you have heard of this or experienced it.
