Bought a Galaxy S4 with CyanogenMod off a friend, and no idea how to factory reset it. Help?

Post Body

So recently I bought a Galaxy S4 off a friend who couldn't use it because it had no battery. He found it at his house shortly after he moved in, and I bought it off him for a pack of cigarettes.

I bought a battery and installed it, low and behold there's a pattern lock. I don't want any of the previous owner's info on it, I just want to use the phone.

Is there a way I can factory reset it without the pattern? I'd prefer to keep CyanogenMod since I'm not good with custom ROMs, but if there's another option let me know.

TIA
