Stream to Lapdock?

So I have been looking at the Nexdock and was wondering whether it could be made to work with my Fairphone 3 running the latest LOS.
Sadly the FP3 only supports USB 2.0 over USB-C so the wired connection is out of the question but the Nexdock supports wireless connections and LOS has the option to stream the screen to another device.
Any ideas if this might work?
Any similar products that you can recommend?
