Use a cabinet or combo amp to monitor during practice?
Post Body

I’m looking for a solution for practice. We use a PA system, but it’s difficult to monitor our vocalist’s mic as well as going direct with my Pod Go. We are always fighting over volume.

The problem I’m having is deciding if it’s a better solution to have a guitar cabinet to monitor my sound, or use a combo amp.

My problem is finding a 212 cabinet that’s under $300. So is it better to just buy a somewhat affordable guitar combo amp?
