Using helix with Logic Pro help

Hello all
I am trying to use my helix as an interface with logic Pro. I have done this before with success, but it’s been a while. Basically, I have midi tracks that won’t play when I have the helix plugged in via USB. I have the helix plugged in using a midi cable, and when I press play, none of the tracks make any noise. When I unplug the helix the midi tracks play sound through my computer speakers. Any idea what could be making this happen?
