The Anomaly research and containment department otherwise known as A. R. C is a multinational government department that specializes in the research and containment of super powered objects and individuals being founded during the cold war after the age of super heroes began during world war two

The agency has mostly been in the shadows with minimal funding from the government due to both the public and politicians siding with the heroes that sprung up over the years but during the early 2000s many would turn against the heroes and the government would begin to give the A. R. C more leeway in their operations even allowing them to begin bag and tagging different super powered individuals for re eduction

Nanomites - microscopic robots that are capable of interfacing directly with the cells of a biocompatible individuals (special investigators)
