I believe everyone has had that moment when they unexpectedly see something that turns them on from zero to 105%. You're not expecting anything, and suddenly, a flood of hormones rushes to your brain, making you feel warm, unable to think clearly, because everything is suddenly overshadowed by sexual desire. You're a bit surprised at how quickly it happens, and even though it might happen at inappropriate times occasionally, it's still a pretty exciting feeling.

Now, imagine that instead of a visual stimulus, it happens through an olfactory stimulus (i.e., through the sense of smell). That's roughly what happens in my brain every time I catch a certain scent in the air, emitted by a few specific female individuals.
