So this is a pure text post that focus on the liminalness of the vibe and the music rather than pictures.

Not sure if this is mentioned, but I find the 2 spiderman multiverse movies can be very liminal for me in most scenes. Mainly because of the music (great ost btw). Especially the spot theme from across the spiderverse. It is eerie, obviously, and it also gives me a heavy anemoia vibe. And it is the same with other themes of the series like the Miguel theme and the prawler theme. They are just so different and so out of this reality (I guess the composer really did a great job on it). when listening to them, I always imagine I am stuck in some random ally or some weirdly quiet wheat field, or some strange lab in a 2000s ish film.

And I'd like to mention that I heard the spot theme on tiktok before I actually watch the movie. And most of the video using this sound are sideshows about the Marvel Ruins spiderman. And it is so fitting somehow, you can imagine a movie about the ruins spiderman man with the spot theme. The Marvel Ruins gives out the same energy to me. It's like the Marvel movies during the Toby spiderman era, where it has somewhat super realistic effect but still gives off a weird old schooled film vibe. And with the more unsettling settings of the ruins comic, it would be a even more off, more anemoia film. I don't know if anyone feels the same. I couldn't exactly describe this feeling (I guess most anemoia and liminalness are like this). I hope someone who share this feeling can.
