Arriving after gates close Friday night

Am I able to park somewhere and get in after gates close or are they super strict? I'm leaving Friday after work to meet my group of friends, but will be pushing my luck getting there before the cutoff time. Wondering if I can park somewhere remote and walk in or if I'm sol and have to wait until gates open Saturday..
