AC wiring help

I have made the setup ising the 8ch relay board. I looked at a bunch of tutorial and im still confused as to which side should i connect to the relays neutral or the hot aide if im not mistaken woulnt the hot side soark inside the relays every time theu switch possibly causing heat issues and melt? If so can i ise the neitral instead
