Has-been fan-translator here, wondering if there's any book anyone wants someone to pick up. I've picked up 4 series since the year began:
I Really Don't Notice by Nozomi Kouta (6 Volumes completed)
Flowers for the Forest Beasts by Kimito Kogi (1 Volume completed)
Alchemuls: The Absolute Evil for my Hero by Ooizumi Takashi (Volume 1 out of 3 translated)
The Forgetful Detective Series by Nisio Isin (Volumes 1 and 2 out of 11 Translated)
It might not be at a professional level, but I think my translations are at least decent (legible, not MTL). Despite that, my readership's been declining lately, and only the short stories I do get any sizable views. The last few volumes I did turned out comically low figures (double digits, but nowhere near triple; this is views, not visitors) and I personally didn't see any problems with the story or translation quality. With this, I must conclude it is a problem with my s*** taste in selection.
This is an attempt to push all my problems onto you. It can be a web novel or light novel. I prefer completed series (though I'm open to ongoing ones), any genre is fine. Without any ongoing translation, be it fan or official, if possible, available digitally on ebook jp so I can use my points. I should have enough to get a book or two. I'm not monitized, so I can keep on with what I'm doing with no real monetary harm (I'm really only losing money buying books), it's just sad seeing myself fade into obscurity.
