TL;DR: My husband feels the other husband is cocky. But it's more a personality clash. How to move forward? Or not.
Long story. I'll try to summarize best I can. We met J&D in March 2019. We all got along enough ish, and especially me and the other husband. Like an instant chemistry. We had a soft swap in April. Then a full swap separate dates in May. My husband and the other wife had a terrible date. They backed off because the wife wasn't feeling it. But we remained friends. I'd call it dirty vanilla.
During this time my husband mentioned a few times how the other husband's personality rubs him the wrong way. He calls him cocky and says he doesn't like the way he speaks about lifestyle stuff. My husband is more of an actions speak louder than words type. He doesn't brag or boast. This husband is more braggadocious. "There's just something about him" my husband says.
Now just recently the wife and my husband have started to find themselves really clicking. They have started sexting and sharing fantasies, etc. And looks like play is back on the table with them soon. But I feel almost scared to engage with the other husband bc I don't want to encourage his behaviors that piss off my husband. But I like his confidence. I enjoy his assertive dominance. It makes me feel like he really finds me sexy and I can feel comfortable with him.
I don't even know the exact question I have. My husband and I have discussed it in length and it seems like it stems from just 2 different ways they express themselves and also a little of self confidence issues with my husband.
Have you had an similar experience? Did you push thru it and make it work? Or did you decide it wasn't worth it? Hopefully I explained this clearly. I'll be happy to answer any additional questions if necessary. Thanks ladies.
