I bought my tires from Discount Tire last March, and during the inspection today, I was told that the treads were too low to pass. The tires are supposed to last 60,000 miles, and it’s only been about 20,000. I bought the warranty, but they’re saying that only covers accidents and nails. I feel like they should still be covered, they should have lasted me much longer. I can’t get a straight answer from Discount Tire on whether or not they will cover anything, until they see my car tomorrow.
My question is, isn’t there supposed to be some kind of warranty or guarantee? I shouldn’t have to pay full price for another set of tires this soon, right? What can I expect them to offer - and if I need to, how can I fight for a fair discount/price?
