LPT: If you’re ordering takeout, you could save money by calling in the order instead of using a food delivery app for pickup

Post Body
Most restaurants mark up their items on online order apps by a dollar or two to help offset the commission taken out by the apps from the sale.
This markup still applies if you order delivery or takeout because the prices won’t change.
If you call it in, they ring it up using their own restaurant system cutting out the food delivery app. You save money and the restaurant also does.
Compare prices on the app vs their printed menu, it depends on the restaurant
