My SO's mother recently passed away (surgical complications) and the only recording we have of her is an old voice mail message. With how easy it is these days to shoot a short video clip or record a voice memo, we are kicking ourselves for never having done so. This is especially annoying to myself, since I have a decent collection of recording gear.

Does your relative have that one story they tell all the time? You might be annoyed hearing it again right now, but you'll likely wish you could hear it "just one more time" after they've passed.
