Post Body

Hi all,

I was previously in a relationship with someone who was incredibly emotionally and physically abusive. When I ended our relationship, things only got worse.

My ex-partner was stalking me, and had hacked into my phone. I would buy a new phone, change all my accounts, and he would still get access. I could not understand why.

Then, finally, I realised what it was. He had left a charging cable in my home. Inside this cord it had wifi access, a keylogger, and a GPS tracker. This seemingly innocuous charging cord was allowing him full access to, and control of my phone.

So, people, please, always use your own charger/charging cord, and if you're concerned that you've been hacked, throw out your chargers and charging cords and buy new ones.

It took me years to work out how he was constantly getting access to my phones, plekase, don't make the same mistake and be safe out there.

Edit: thanks for all the supportive comments, and to the people who are blaming the victim, get bent.
