Banking gigs often require only a HS diploma and pay $20 per hour (in my state, YMMV). You get every federal holiday off with pay, and they're usually generous with vacation and benefits. Plus it's a great way to learn about money.
I went from forklift driver to retail banker, then got my securities licenses, and am now a financial advisor at a different bank.
