I'm 26 and have been a concrete form carpenter for the past 7 years. I made my way up to foreman doing that and enjoyed it. But just was stagnated in the field. No place was promoting higher than foreman and I didn't want to be stuck at that forever. I just recently got hired on to a place that does precast concrete and have been being told I'm a great worker and will move up fast. Only problem I'm having is that I don't know if this manufacturing type environment is really for me. I want to move up, I wouldn't mind going into a more corporate position in the future. I just don't want to be insanely bored and not enjoy work until I get to that point. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated.
