Post Body

Early in the week, our department had a meeting with all the head honchos. They took us in one by one and basically asked what is making our department a dumpster fire. Basically, I said to replace the department lead. The lead was thrust into the position and isn't a good fit.

After a few days, it seemed like they were trying. However, old habits die hard. Seeing this, I started looking online for better work. Turns out the company put an add out for his job, and I sent in my application.

So I guess what steps can I take to help me? I am the second senior person in the department, so it's not out of nowhere I think to apply. Any thoughts?
