Where has human decency gone? I, 45M, have recently decided to dip my toe in the dating pool after 5 years of being single. I took that time to focus on my kids, myself, and work. Since Iāve embarked on this āadventure,ā Iāve encountered a number of soul numbing situations. Here are a few that may apply across the board, but itās what Iāve seen with the woman Iāve encountered.
Dating apps are a platform for woman to promote their OF pages. An alarming number of woman have an OF page. They wonāt talk to you on the dating app. According to them, you will subscribe to their OF if you are serious about wanting to meet them. WHAT? I have to pay you in order to speak with you?
Being a nice guy means nothing. Chivalry is just overlooked. It means nothing. Yet every woman at some point has said, āWhy canāt I just meat a nice guy?ā Cause yall donāt want a nice guy. You want someone to bring an ungodly amount of problems and drama. So why say you want a nice guyā¦just say nice guys are boring. Nice guys donāt cheat, they are respectful, they have a job, they pay their bills, and they are someone your mom would approve of. Just say, āI want to meet a guy that will screw me over at every turn but Iām going to keep thinking I can fix them.ā That tends to be the reality of the situation.
Those are my two biggest/most seen behaviors. I canāt be the only one trying to navigate this dead end of a maze. Again, Iām sure there are situations that apply across the boardā¦Iām just talk about my experiences. Iād love to hear what others have seen
