I graduated with my bachelor's degree in psychology in May 2021. Ever since then, I've been working as the programming coordinator at my library because I wanted to take two years off before I return to grad school. My original plan has been to apply for a PhD program in clinical psychology, but I've slowly been re-evaluating my options. I really, really love all the work that comes with my job, I love the patrons, I love the environment, and of course I love promoting literacy and connecting people to resources. I almost want to switch to pursue an MLS, but there's still a big part of me that wants to study more psychology. As you can tell, I am really bad at making decisions.
Do you know of any career ideas that perhaps combine the two together? I'm not specifically looking for a master's or doctorate; I'm ready to take on whichever. But I think the ideal position for me would be a mix of the two. If you have any ideas, please share them - I'd love to research this more.
