I took a look at how Jorgensen did in each state vs. how Johnson did in the previous Presidential election. New Mexico and Utah were the most interesting.
- For context, Jorgensen only got 1.18% of the national popular vote, compared to Johnson's 3.28%
- The vote percentage in New Mexico especially plummeted - Johnson got an astounding 9.34% of the vote, while Jorgensen only got 1.36%
- New Mexico went from the #1 Libertarian state (by % vote) to about #20 for Jorgensen
- Utah actually stayed pretty steady, with Jorgensen only 1,161 votes short of Johnson's mark
- Utah was only 25th for Johnson percentage-wise, but it was Jorgensen's 3rd best state, behind only the Dakotas
