Hypothesis: Liberals are afraid of a Ron Paul GOP nomination because he's the only one that could seriously present a challenge to Obama at the national level.

I suspect the reason why there's so much RP hate in /r/politics is because they really want Obama to retain the White House. Mittens has absolutely no chance to win against Obama -- he's the same exact candidate as Obama but just isn't liked as much. Does anyone else see this the same way?
