Where can I move to to be free?

Preferably in the states, but around the world where can I move to so that I can own a gun, be secure in my possessions, and not be harrassed for growing a small amount of marijuana plants? I'd love to be in a temperate climate, but hell that comes secondary to freedom.
I'm an IT guy (programmer) so obviously it'd be nice to do programming but this comes secondary to my personal freedom. Is it even possible to want what I want?
