There's honestly a lot that I don't get about libertarian political philosophy. So, I wanted to start a conversation here with you guys.
One thing I'm not getting. "Taxation is theft". While I do agree that outrageous taxation is horrible and immoral. There are tons of things that I feel should not be private sector and that makes taxation necessary.
Such as government bureaucratic institutions like the BMV The courts and police forces Public facilities like roads parks national parks natural preserves ETC. Regulatory agencies to keep potential destructive elements under control. As a good four count start for the discussion. Why are these things such a bad idea?
