I'm kind of curious if the membership of this group spikes whenever Obama, or a group in our government has a scandal; like Snowden letting people know what the NSA is doing. Is there any data to track that over time and maybe attach spikes in membership to news events? It might just be Reddit as a whole gets more members when this stuff happens, so maybe that would have to be taken into account. I'd like to see a comparison to other political subreddits as well. Was there any news event that made you decide to subscribe to here, or lead you here? Was there any one scandal, or thing that our government did that was the tipping point that brought you to libertarianism?
