One of my absolute favorite tropes is horror from the POV of the killer. I realized this when I was putting together a list of my favorite movies, and this just kept coming up over and over again— then, last night we watched the incredible movie Fade to Black that was an outstanding example of this trope. (Y’all should love Fade to Black, as it’s about a lonely film buff who shouts movie trivia at people when he’s not cosplaying classic Hollywood and committing murder.)

I considered putting The Killer, but since he’s an assassin, it didn’t seem right. And I put in Dahmer despite it being a miniseries because it definitely exemplifies the trope (have yet to see the Jeremy Renner Dahmer movie).
