How much does a movie being “memorable” factor into your rating, if it does at all?

Post Body

Have you ever logged and rated a movie, but then gone back and adjusted it to be slightly higher because you couldn’t stop thinking about it and re-analyzing it for however many days or weeks?

Or are you the type of person who rates it immediately after and won’t touch the rating unless you rewatch the movie?

I feel like if a movie is deep or complex enough that I still find myself going over certain scenes and elements of the movie more than a week later, that warrants consideration of changing the rating to be higher than what I initially gave it.

How about you guys, how much does a movie being memorable factor into your rating system? Would you go back and adjust a rating because you just can’t stop thinking about it?
