In recent years, a lot of albums from the 60s, most notably those of The Beatles, have been remixed in stereo, meaning that instruments play in both ears. A lot of peopleās first exposure to 60s music in recent years has been through headphones, which to me, always created a disorienting effect. However, hearing them remixed really opened my eyes to how incredible The Beatles were.
I feel the same way about Loveās āForever Changesā and its stereo remix. However, I hear that people think that the hard panning of 60s music works in that albums favor. So Iām just curious as to what peopleās thoughts are on the 60s hard panning.
