What are your thoughts on hard panning in 60s albums?
Post Body

In recent years, a lot of albums from the 60s, most notably those of The Beatles, have been remixed in stereo, meaning that instruments play in both ears. A lot of peopleā€™s first exposure to 60s music in recent years has been through headphones, which to me, always created a disorienting effect. However, hearing them remixed really opened my eyes to how incredible The Beatles were.

I feel the same way about Loveā€™s ā€œForever Changesā€ and its stereo remix. However, I hear that people think that the hard panning of 60s music works in that albums favor. So Iā€™m just curious as to what peopleā€™s thoughts are on the 60s hard panning.
