Okay so I'm new to letsnotmeet so I don't know how these things normally go about but here goes. Also, sorry about any formatting uses I may occur. (I still feel terribly new and I've been here a month).

First encounter.

• Summer of 2011 when I was 19. I walked a friend to her bus stop after us hanging out all day. At the bus stop, there was a man already sat down on the bus seat waiting.

Didn't say anything to us or acknowledge us at all. I waited with her till she got on the bus then started to walk home (I live about 10 to 15 minutes away). It's pretty dark at this point, I think it was about 9pm or so. I realised the guy who was sat waiting for the bus is now walking behind me.

Not a big deal until I got to the road I normally walk down (it's poorly lit but I normally wouldn't think twice) and he's still behind me. He was just being really shifty...call it a gut feeling but I knew something was weird. So I stopped walking and pretended to tie my shoe. I looked back and he's now stopped walking too and just is leaning against a tree. So I decided to walk back up the road I just walked down and walk right past him, deciding to walk a different way home instead.

I looked over my shoulder about 20 seconds later...and yep, he's now going the same way as me again. I had no fucking clue what to do, I was terrified. Started to increase my pace a little to get as far away as I could without running. Looked back again and the guy starts running towards me so I'm like "shit" and run as fast as I can. Eventually managed to lose him as I bolted down a side road. Hid by a car to catch my breath and the last I saw of him, he was looking around before then walking back up the road he just ran down.

Second encounter

• This happened about 2 or 3 weeks after the first encounter. I was in my town centre with some friends. Still a bit shaken up after what happened but being with my friends was taking my mind off of everything. It's about 10pm and we had just been having a few drinks in a pub. We sat outside it being summer and pretty hot and all. One of my friends was talking to someone I didn't know while I was talking to the other.

All of a sudden I notice that some guy has walked past where we are sat about 4 times. At first I just put it down to me being jumpy and paranoid. Tried to just push it to the back of my mind but it kept happening. My friend who I was talking to is aware of it and is trying to calm me down.

This happens literally for ten minutes until I started crying because I felt like something bad was going to happen. Both friends comfort me and we all go home. I was feeling pretty stupid about it all by the time we had gotten on our bus until my friend told me "When you started to crying, he started laughing".

And the third encounter.

• This was last year, I think it was around June.

I was hanging out with a few friends at one of their houses until pretty late. It got to 11pm and I decided to walk home. After the other 2 encounters, my mum is especially protective over me.

If I'm going to be walking alone, I always make plans to meet a member of my family halfway home. So we arrange for her to meet me on the very road I was chased down before. My friends house is 10 minutes from there but I walk naturally fast. Everything is fine until I approach that road.

I'm on the opposite side of that road when a taxi slows down behind me. The driver is driving along side me now when he says something to me but I don't hear what.

I tried to cross the road to 1. get away from him and 2. wait in front of a well lit petrol station\garage for my mother when he says "Get in the car". I replied with something like "I don't need a taxi. I'm meeting someone" and he says again "Get IN the car". Luckily I saw my mum approach the garage and I shouted her name from across the road so she saw me. The driver turns to see her and then races away from me.

tl;dr: I seem to attract creepy men.
