I cringe every time another relative or friend tells me how lucky I am to move in with my aunt after college graduation. I might be lucky to pay $400 a month for a nice bedroom with utilities included but the living situation isn't ideal. My aunt is cool but obnoxious and annoying in many ways. Living the 'cool aunt that drinks wine' vibe, she's fun to hang out with but overbearing to live with. After 6 months of living together, there's so many examples that could be given.
Since moving in, I've seen the barbell piercings on her nipples more times than I've seen my own breasts. I'm not a prude, nudity doesn't offend me but when your aunts a raging, flirtatious lesbian it starts to feel awkward. There's a girl over almost every week and sometimes it's multiple. Seeing breasts normally isn't weird but the knowledge she's getting it on routinely, with visual hickeys often on her boobs to remind me, makes things extremely awkward.
It doesn't help she's often in a teasing and flirting mood. Apparently my tongue and those piercings should become friends. The piercings want to become 'friends' with me. With a little bit of alcohol, she seems to forget her brunette roommate is actually her niece..
Sharing a bathroom causes more inconvenience. She takes forever to get ready and always seems to need it when I'm showering. A girl needs a little bit of privacy. What sounds awesome to have but is actually another awkward visual reminder is the jacuzzi in the bathroom. To say my aunt 'enjoys' the jacuzzi would be an understatement.
One time I returned home from work, had to use the bathroom, the door was open so I walked right in and seen a lot more aunt lesbian sex than a niece ever should see. Just as awkward, one morning I walked in and stepped on a thong mixed with some other discarded clothing.. That morning good bye was extra awkward.
I swear, I'm not gay. I'm really not. My living arrangement just makes it hard to not have certain thoughts...
