Your thoughts on dating current/ex-military
Post Body

So, this has come up a few times in my circles and I'm curious what you ladies think about dating current or ex-military? Do you have reservations or hang ups?

To boilerplate, I'm ex-military, having served for 20 years and retired. If you have reservations or hang ups, it won't bother nor offend me. I am just genuinely curious what people think and what comes to mind.

I should probably request we keep this civil as I'm sure some people will have strong opinions on the politics of the subject. If the mods feel this is flying too close to that sun, I'm sure they'll delete it. Thanks for all your thoughts! I've enjoyed spending time here, learning about y'all and chiming in when I have anything remotely relevant to add.

Also: I'm not going to reveal where I was stationed, or with what group. I've found this leads to unnecessary tangents. All I'll say is that I was an officer in the US Army.
