... from this. Whenever I try to flirt or make any kind of connection with you, I can feel you pulling away, but you texted me yesterday and we chatted non-stop for seven hours.
We matched on Tinder almost two months ago, but when I asked you out - all you gave me was a "Maybe," went silent for three weeks, and I thought that was that. I was moving on, but you texted me out of the blue wanting to get lunch or coffee, I agreed.
We sat at that restaurant for three hours, chatting happily, sitting close at the bar, enjoying each other's company and continued the good time to a bookstore a couple of blocks away.
I walked you to your car, you told me you had a great time, I responded with "Of course you did! I'm great!" in a joking tone, but your tone when you agreed made me melt into a puddle. We hugged (a good strong hug) and your smell stayed with me, making it hard to sleep.
Why is it when it's your idea, you're about me, but if it's mine, you seem flighty/extremely disinterested? I hate these games. I wish you never texted me out of the blue.
