I thought I was lesbian for a while but now I’m having doubts bc of all the discourse about whether lesbians can like fictional men or not. I KNOW this gets asked all the time on this sub so I am sorry if you guys are tired of it, but I just wanted to know everyone else’s thoughts on my specific situation?
Basically I have some fictional male crushes (anime/manga/manhwa characters) that I find cute or hot etc. If it matters, these characters tend to be feminine/submissive. I also have sexual fantasies about them sometimes (although they take the form of me dominating them bc I’m a top). But I do know that I am uninterested in real men (including celebrities, never had a celeb crush) and if these characters were to become real and look like real life human men with realistic features, I would become totally uninterested. Basically I only like them as anime drawings, which sounds strange saying out loud. Does anyone else relate to this?
I think I’m just going to call myself queer bc I feel like bisexual sounds misleading when I’m not into real life men at all, but I also feel like I’m being misleading if I call myself lesbian lol. Labels are confusing
