Is it wrong to buy things for people I like?
Post Body

There's this girl I like, I've known her for nearly a year now but we've only gotten closer a few months ago and we're sort of in a talking stage right now.

I occasionally get her gifts (like probably once or twice every other month) for things like her birthday or when we're hanging out and I come across something that I noticed caught her eye.

I'd like to think she appreciates it when I get her stuff even though she's always reluctant to let me pay for stuff.

I'm just worried that I'm making her lose interest in me with all the gifts I gave. She even once said that I "give her too much". I guess it just makes me really happy seeing smiles when I give people gifts, and I think thoughtful gifts also carry lots of memories.

Am I giving her too much? Should I stop? What do you guys feel when you receive gifts? Any opinions would help TvT
