Idk if this is the right place for this but since it's a wlw space I wanted to ask for some guidance! I'm bisexual and I'm pretty awkward when it comes to flirting. Dating apps have been a bust with mainly guys who act weird and unicorn hunters. I've never had an actual girlfriend before and it makes me question my queerness sometimes. But I find women and non binary people highly attractive.

I think heteronormative culture has conditioned some sapphics into not having to approach people. In the past it's always guys who have to hit on me (more times than I would like). So with girls I never know how to go about it. I'll compliment their outfit and makeup etc but freeze up afterwards. My gaydar is bad (or maybe it's good and I'm not being forward enough lol).

I don't want to come off as creepy which is one of my fears. How do you subtly flirt with girls? I would appreciate any help at this point.
