Because of the new season I keep seeing non stop posts about it on Twitter and TikTok and I seriously just don't get it. Didn't watch season 1 when that was popular because Ive never played league of legends (which apparently you don't have to know anything about for the series) but I still get random clips and scenes from season 2 shoved in my face often because it's new. the whole reason it seems super popular in the lesbian community is the officer woman and the red haired woman but they look like they hate eachother's guts in every picture and clip I've seen. And they're supposed to be a couple? A couple that people like? I've not once seen anything were they are actually happy together. Outside of the good art direction I'm not really seeing any appeal within the actual contents of the show. Is it just because I prefer fun and whimsy over dark and gritty? I don't really see anything that makes me go "oh yes this perfectly represents me as a gay woman" but apparently alot of lesbians on Twitter and TikTok do.
