So I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about ppl wanting to move out of the US, so I just want to say Vancoucer is great as far as I can tell. In downtown, we close the streets for pride parade every year, there are gay bars everywhere; I once had a client who came to our shop, which is on Davie St and said she came all the way here to get a haircut because it’s so LGBTQ friendly. I’ve also heard many times people moved to Davie street because the environment is more accepting.
Though I know it’s way more complicated than what I mentioned; there’s the whole immigration process and politics, but I just wanted to share my two cents.
