I feel like so many people think that being single is bad and that they need a partner. They take no time at all to be single and just hop from relationship to relationship. I was like that but now that I have been single like over 5 year (I'm 20 been single since 10th grade), I have found out so much about myself and I have really enjoy being single. Yeah there are times where I long for a partner but for the most part is it not as bad as you think.

I think people associate with being single as being a loser. I see so many post on here about how they just want to find their wife. They want to get married so quick as if a relationship is a means to an end to get married. They miss the major part of being in a relationship which in my opinion is getting to know someone and forging a special bond with them. People just want to rush a relationship as if they want to skip through a movie or song to the "best part," missing everything that lead up to that moment.

I sort of do and sort of don't understand this fear of being single. Being single doesn't mean you will never find a partner. I just means that you are taking time to learn about yourself. We miss so much about ourself when in a relationship because we are focused on learning about the other person. If all you do is go from one relationship to another then my question to you is, who are you without a partner? If you can only see yourself with a partner then I think you really need to consider just taking a break.
